Joining PDF/UA

PDF/UA Committee membership is open to qualified individuals and organizations with a goal of contributing to the effort to continue development of international standards relating to PDF accessibility. While observing the Committee's work as an Observer is generally granted to any interested parties, voting status is granted by the consensus of the Committee as a function of participation in the Committee's efforts.

PDF/UA is an ISO Committee document, and AIIM's US Committee is the accredited organization representing US interest with respect to ISO 14289. By ISO policy, only those domiciled in the U.S. may be of Voting or Alternate status on this Committee.

The Committee presently conducts a 2 hour teleconference meeting every two to three weeks, and face-to-face meetings twice annually.

The Committee operates this Wiki as the repository for all its work, as well as a Listserv (email discussion list).  Access to the PDF/UA Wiki and Listserv is granted to members of the Committee only.
