Business with respect to Hamburg, vote on official US delegation going to Hamburg

BF asked to defer this discussion until 1:30 pm

Ballot will close 14 – 16 of April. Caucus to occur in Hamburg.

Discussion tabled until BF can be available.

 

Working group agreed to resume discussion of this topic after lunch at 1:30 pm 

Review comments and develop US position on other national body comments as available.

 This is also a topic of the Hamburg Discussion.

•  Discussion of items from Docbook DTD that should be considered for inclusion in PDF/UA

International Ballot for the working draft will close April 14 – April 16

 

For the ballot to close and becme an official ISO document will require 2/3 approval and 5 countries to participate in the effort.

 

Our intent is to be an official ISO working group in time for Orlando as a joint working group with the TC geared to accessibility

 

Objectives for Hamburg

 

1) Identify who will serve as the working group conveneer (Intl position, no country – impartial)

 

     Typically a 3 year term

 

2) Identify the project leader. Individual responsible for the document.

      TC171 Spokesperson is the only one person speaks on  behalf of a country

 3) Individuals selected and approved

      Duff Johnson – US Spokesperson

Question regarding the conduct of PDF/UA should PDF/UA become an ISO

Committee. This committee will become a US delegation committee.
